Patenting, licensing and marketing costs can traded for a share of future revenues. Thus, depending upon the format of the deal, there may be no upfront cost for inventors. In many cases, a deal can be constructed so that the inventors start to receive payments for their ideas even before the product enters the market.

After successful evaluation* of an invention, Licentia files, and under certain deal models may fund patent applications. We also contact potential partners who may be interested in acquiring access to the intellectual property. When an interested party is found, Licentia negotiates the deal, keeping the inventor informed throughout the entire commercialization process. Once the deal is signed, Licentia monitors the fulfilment of the agreement.
